Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium

The Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan is a multi-purpose sports complex that plays a key role in the sporting life of Armenia. The stadium, which can accommodate 14,935 spectators, offers comfortable conditions for holding both football matches and other mass events. Particular attention is paid to VIP guests, for whom 107 seats with a high level of service are provided.

The history of the stadium spans more than eight decades. Built in 1935 and initially known as Dynamo, it has witnessed numerous historical events and transformations. In 1999, the stadium was named after Vazgen Sargsyan, the former Prime Minister of Armenia.

The stadium underwent significant reconstruction, completed in 2000 with the support of UEFA. In 2008, work was carried out to bring the infrastructure in line with international standards. Today it is the home arena for the Armenian national football team and the Pyunik club.
