Description

The Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium is a multifunctional venue in the center of Yerevan. Previously known as Dynamo, it was named after the former Prime Minister of Armenia in 1999.

The stadium was opened in June 1935 with a match between the local football club Spartak and Moscow CDKA.

The stadium underwent its first reconstruction in 1963. In 2000 and 2008, work was also carried out on the site to modernize it and bring the space in line with international UEFA standards.

Today, the stadium's stands can accommodate 14,935 spectators. 107 seats are reserved for the VIP box. All seats are under the roof, so weather conditions are not a hindrance for guests.

A separate space above the VIP seats is equipped for media representatives. There is also a conference hall with comfortable seats and necessary gadgets.

Currently, the Republican Stadium is the home field for the Armenian national football team and FC Pyunik. In March 2025, a record number of fans in the stands was recorded at the UEFA Nations League match between the Armenian and Georgian national teams - there was no free seat to be found!

In addition to sporting events, the stadium hosts large-scale cultural events. World-class stars perform here.

The venue's poster always contains up-to-date news about upcoming events, for which you can purchase tickets in advance.
